Woodland would greatly appreciate your time and talent if you are interested in volunteering.

SPRING CLEAN APRIL 24-26, 2026

One of the major tasks is preparing the facilities and grounds in the spring before camp starts in May. There are many projects to choose from.

INDOOR PROJECTS: Indoor needs are cleaning all the buildings, washing all the dishes, pots and pans, cleaning the stove and ovens, etc.

OUTDOOR PROJECTS: Outdoor projects include raking leaves, cleaning flower beds, picking up sticks, mowing

Below is an estimate of how many volunteers and hours are needed to complete each task around the camp:

• KITCHEN, 48 hours, 8 volunteers

• TABERNACLE, 12 hours, 6 volunteers

• BATH HOUSE (GIRLS), 8 hours, 4 volunteers

• BATH HOUSE (BOYS), 8 hours, 4 volunteers

• MESS HALL, 24 hours, 6 volunteers

• COOK'S CABIN, 4 hours, 2 volunteers

• FLOWER BEDS, 8 hours, 4 volunteers

• REC HALL, 12 hours, 6 volunteers

• STORAGE ROOM, 4 hours, 2 volunteers

• OUTSIDE GROUNDS, 24 hours, 8 volunteers

• CABINS, 36 hours, 8 volunteers

Total estimated volunteers needed 58
